I have always found eyes absolutely fascinating. Every single frame of the real world has entered the pupil to create a memory, whether that memory is sad or happy, they mould us into who we are. 

Every eye is different, just like personalities. Until you get 'up-close and personal' you tend to understand the person and what they have experienced.

Along with the images, I asked every person what their happiest and worst memories were. Some darker and some lighter experiences were shared, and I look back at the images and what I am looking at has captured those exact memories. Each one extremely personal to them.
